StrideBox April 2017 + Promo Code

I received this box free of charge, in exchange for my honest review. I was not compensated, and I am not receiving commission from promo code redemptions.

Happy FriYay! I seriously cannot believe another week has FLOWN by. (Side-note: Adam just made fun of me for saying this literally every single week. But I don’t know what else to say!! Hahahaha so forgive my repetitiveness or suggest another opening line!)

It’s been a busy, busy week at work though, so I’m more than okay with it and will welcome the weekend with open arms! This weekend we will be getting Adam all ready for Little Rock’s Etsy Fest the following weekend, where he will be a vendor with his woodworking business. I’m so excited for him to show off all the hard work he’s put in lately!

Instead of a loving lately post, I’ve got a fun review and promo code for you! We’re getting back to the basics today, and I’m bringing back an old favorite!

stridebox review

It’s been a while, eh? I’ve actually been receiving these on the reg, and me and Adam love going through them every time a new one comes in. I know I’ve mentioned this before, but now that we’re both getting back our fitness game, it’s fun having something we can both enjoy. It’s sometimes a battle over who gets what and if you don’t call “dibs!” fast enough you’re out of luck! But we typically end up splitting the box, slowing “eating out of it” throughout the month as we hit the gym.

If you’ve been a reader for a while, then you know I’ve been loving StrideBox for years. You can see StrideBox reviews here, here, here, here, and here.

Each box contains fun sample sizes (typically) of anything from nutrition, to body care, to accessories. Things like electrolyte powder, granola, chews, sunscreen, gu’s, sport beans, protein powder, protein bars, running gear, fun fitness accessories, and fun motivational stickers! There’s always a great variety! Though my FAVORITE thing we’ve received was a simple back massager. I’m not kidding when I say we use it on each other’s back every single night while we watch TV. I guess we like our massages! That or we have really sore muscles! Either way, that discovery was like pure gold. One time they even sent a clip on light for a dog collar – that was also perfect considering Truckee is black and impossible to see at night!

The subscription is super simple – $15 a month, and you’re free to cancel anytime. You’re never locked in. Adam originally got this for me as a Christmas gift, and we’ve cancelled, then reopened a few times.

This month’s box was once again fantastic. A few call outs though –

  • Picky Bars – Lauren Fleshman created these, and they are delicious! If you don’t follow her blog or social media, you should because she’s hilarious and an amazing runner! You can read about her HERE.
  • Pinpoint Gel Bead Hot/Cold Pack – Lovvvvvve these things!!! They’re so useful, and seriously a lifesaver at times!
  • Glukos Energy Gummies – I have tried many, many different types of energy chews over the years, but I’ve never had these! I’m definitely excited to try these on a night when I do cardio, or even before some strength training for some extra oomph! I used to use Clif Bloks, and PowerBar Chews, but it’s been a hot minute since I’ve even needed something like that.
  • EO Deodorant Wipe – I mean, enough said. Who doesn’t love a fresh body wipe??

Now, promo code time.

Use code 5SSI417 to get $5 off your first box when you sign up for a monthly subscription.

Good through May 15th, 2017.

Check it out, and let me know what you think!

I have yet to try ANY of the monthly subscription boxes, mostly because I worry I’ll waste it all. But I love trying new healthy and fitness minded products!
