2 In Adeline

It’s The Great Pumpkin Bubble, Charlie Brown

A few days before Adeline’s first birthday, I took her out to get some pictures of her in what is possibly my favorite smocked outfit of hers to date. I’m deeming it, the great pumpkin bubble. And it is adorable, and I might cry a little when she outgrows it. Or when it’s no longer socially acceptable to wear a pumpkin outfit. Pumpkins are totally a year ’round thing, right???

I have loved documenting every detail of my sweet girl’s life so far, and taking as many photos of her as I can while she can’t run off! In about another month though I have a feeling she’s going to be impossible to wrangle for the camera! Oy vey, that’s going to hurt my photographer heart, but we will just cross that bridge when we come to it! I’m choosing to believe I’ll have the world’s most cooperative toddler. And I say that with as much sarcasm as I can possibly muster.

I snapped these photos in a very small patch of tall grass, just down the road from us, in a matter of about 15 minutes. There weren’t many smiles to be had, but that’s what happens when you mix dinner time with grass that is clearly way more entertaining than mommy! This small patch of land is something you’d probably drive by and never even think it would work for photos, but those places are always the best! I’ll be sharing her one year photos soon too! I took them in the same place, and then framed several of each for her party.

Here are my favorites!

I mean, come on, can she just wear a bubble every single day??

So so cute! I also love those shoes!!! Super adorable! My sister was particularly attached to a onesie that my niece would wear, so she bought it in three sizes so she could see her in it longer! hahaha it was a onesie with footies that looked like red shoes!
