Fall Mom Style With Jord Watches {Giveaway!}

I received the following product for free in exchange for my honest review. All opinions are my own.

I’m no fashionista, but I’d be lying if I said Fall didn’t make me feel at least somewhat stylish! There’s something about the ability to pull on a cute pair of boots, layer on some plaid, and wrap up in a blanket scarf that solidifies the season as the one time of year when I’m actually put together. Unfortunately, I’m still counting down the days until just thinking about these things doesn’t make me sweat, so until that day comes, I’m dreaming of cooler days – which are hopefully just a week or two away! To help me do this, I’ll be rocking my “transition” pieces. And one of these new pieces, is actually a new watch!

Now, I normally don’t wear a watch because I like to wear my Fitbit as much as possible. But when we go out, or, when my Fitbit needs to charge, I still like to have something on my wrist so I’m not always checking the time on my phone. (Is it just me or do any other moms feel like their phones are literally always in their hands?) If I’m wearing a watch, I find that it’s easier to put my phone down.

So back to transition pieces. My early-fall-but-really-it-still-feels-like-summer mom-drobe typically consists of a solid pair of dark jeans (shows less messes, and hides the fact that it’s probably been an eternity since they were last washed), a comfy, flowy top, a simple layering outer piece, a pair of ‘ole faithful booties, and basic accessories. I’m about as neutral as they come in the clothing department but I think that’s always a win in the fall season.

The watch I’m accessorizing with is from JORD, and is made of 100% natural hand finished wood. I’d say it’s rustic sophistication meets Joanna Gaines on my wrist. JORD watches are stylish for both girls and guys, and have a wide variety is beautiful wood finishes and face options. They can be sized to fit your wrist to a tee, and have easy push buttons for snapping it on and off. The contrast of the metallic hands gives it just enough visual interest, and it’s really a stunner piece up close – way prettier than my Fitbit!

I’m of course loving how neutral my JORD watch is, and the slate gray face is too perfect. It’s got “fall style” written all over it. If you want to check it out, it’s the Frankie 35 in Dark Sandalwood and Slate. There are also options for a mint, navy, or champagne face, all of which are super cute! My second choice was mint, but I figured the slate would go with more all season long.

    I only wear my watch when I’m at work (I’m an RN) — otherwise, I rely on my phone. 🙂

    October in AZ still feels like summer. Once we hit more “fall-ish” weather (like, December), then I break out my scarves and fur-trimmed boots!
