What I’m Loving Friday – Jumping on that Bandwagon

Hey oooooo, it’s Friday. Hip hip hooray!

I haven’t had much exercise this week to chit-chat about, so I figured today I’d join the masses and share a few things that I’ve been loving lately! Easy peasy.

Let’s get to it:

1. Minted.com

It occurred to me this week that we’re going to be needing birth announcements later this year! And we will probably want to do a Christmas card. And while we’re at it, I’m going to need a plethora of thank you cards. Minted.com is a great resource for all of the above, and I’ve used them in the past for lots of wedding festivities. I ordered my save the dates from minted, our wedding invitations, and our last family Christmas card. I think one of my wedding shower invites also came from Minted. They have so many cute designs to choose from and have recently updated their wedding stationary collection, which you can view HERE.

Minted has always been super easy to work with, and I love that each card or stationary often has tons of options you can use to really customize your look! A designer always reviews your order, sends you a digital proof for you to review, and then voilia! They’ve also got a “Buy Now, Personalize Later” on the site which is fabulous! It’s so nice to be able to start a project or design and save it to come back to later. Here are a few looks I’ve been loving that I’ve got bookmarked as ideas for down the road! And I realize you probably think I’m crazy for thinking about this already, but as a photographer and someone who adores “the little things,” I tend to think about these details!

Birth announcement ideas:

Cute thank you notes!

Bonus! They also have nursery art!

2. Palmer’s Tummy Butter

I’ve been using this probably every other night in an attempt to ward off those pesky stretch marks! We ordered a pack of 3 for like $16 on Amazon Prime and so far it’s been a good investment. My belly is still barely there, but I think being proactive will be key! It smells like cocoa + lavender and is super easy to use. It’s kind of the consistency of a jar of coconut oil that’s hardened?

3. Hydro Flask

I could swear by my Hydro Flask. I take it to work with me everyday, and not only that, but it pretty much goes everywhere with me these days. Hydro Flasks are AWESOME. I know I’ve raved about them before, but they keep your water cold for something crazy like 18 hours and can keep hot liquids like coffee hot for just as long! It’s crazy. Having cold water readily available definitely makes it 10 times easier and more appealing to drink!

4. Keds Slip Ons

Adam bought me these right before our San Diego trip, and they are probably my favorite shoes ever! They are SO comfortable, and literally go with everything. To an extent, of course. You can get them on Amazon HERE.

5. Grey’s Anatomy…JK I’m SO sad!

Without giving away too many spoilers, did anyone else watch last night’s episode? I’ve been watching since DAY ONE when the show first premiered my junior year of high school, and last night I bawled like a baby!

We had another prenatal appointment yesterday and it went perfectly. We got to hear baby’s heartbeat and it sounded so strong! Such a great reminder that even if I’m still sick, the baby is still doing great in there!

What’s something you’re loving this week?

Oh girl, it was so sad. Everyone is so angry with Shonda Rimes the writer and it’s hilarious! I just don’t know how the show will go on, like what’s the next big story line going to be??

All of the cards and nursery decorations you included are adorable!!! I used to watch Gray’s Anatomy, but I’m kind of glad I stopped, otherwise I’m sure I would have been a mess too.
