Happy Wednesday! This week is flying by, and I feel like I have so much to talk about but I’m going to instead default to a sweat-tastic workout I wanted to share!
I’ve been really working on my arm strength lately, as well as just my bodyweight strength. Is that even a thing? It made sense in my head. You know what I mean though, being able to do exercises with just your bodyweight. Like…pushups!
My goal the past couple weeks has been to complete 2 sets of 5 pushups throughout the day while I’m home. The other day, Adam challenged me to instead do 1 set of 5, then 1 set of 7. And you know what? After doing 5 for several weeks, 7 didn’t seem so bad! And I’m talking real, big girl pushups. It’s amazing how much better you feel physically when you can do a simple exercise such as pushups.
Here’s a fun but challenging at-home workout you can do to work on those pushups! It also includes leg work to get those quads and booty in shape. I’ve been loving at-home workouts lately, although I still prefer hitting the gym.
For this workout, you’ll complete it twice. And of course, alter the weight as needed.
