Normally on Mondays I like to share either a weekend recap, or something I’ve drafted up ahead of time. But if we’re being honest, I really didn’t have the energy to do either! This weekend turned into a busy, and tiring one, so last night I enjoyed sipping hot chocolate, catching up on SNL, and going through a handful of photos of our baby Bear in the cutest bear suit.
I’ll be back tomorrow to share a full recap of our Hot Chocolate Dallas race recap from Saturday, and I can’t wait to share! It was so much fun, and I already want to sign up for my next race. The running bug is real – which explains why I was hooked for so long!
Before I share Bear’s bear suit photos, I’ll quickly recap our weekend, short and sweet. Friday night, we had our family pizza night, and got everything packed and loaded up for the kids and for our race. We had to be at the grandparent’s house by 5:30 am, so we went to bed praying for a good night’s sleep. However, both kids decided they didn’t want to sleep, so needless to say, 5 am came rather quickly. (sigh). Saturday was race day, then Saturday afternoon/night we spent at home, napping and playing. Sunday, we headed to church, after another horrible night of sleep for B. We spent the afternoon doing the cleaning we didn’t do on Saturday, and setting our game plan for sleep training. (Because something’s GOT to change!) And here we are, starting Monday morning once again with tired eyes, and full hearts.
So, I can’t get over this bear suit, and squealed a little when I came across it. It’s. So. Perfect. I bought it in a 9 month, so it’s still a little big on him, but I think maybe it’s meant to go over something like jammies, and I just had him in it in a diaper. The little paws can either be mittens or opened up, and the feet also have bears on them. And the entire inside is a buffalo plaid pattern which is one of my love languages, I’m convinced of it. I just love him so much I could EAT HIM UP. Enjoy these photos of our Bear, for no other reason than because they’re cute.
Have a bear-y good week, friends!
