This summer is going to be our last summer just the two of us. Our last summer to frolic and take road trips and day trips and lounge around without any REAL concerns. It’s kind of a weird thought, and I know October is going to be here in the blink of an eye, but I’m determined to still make this summer a summer to remember! (Of course being a hot sweaty pregnant mess will make it rememberable in and of itself) We aren’t traveling as much, and are more content staying closer to town these days, so maybe this will be the summer of Adam and Sarah, instead of 10 weddings and 13 other things we’ve committed to! I think it’s about time we spend more weekends just the two of us, instead of spreading ourselves so thin.
Realistically, even though this summer is going to be mostly about the baby, there are several things I want just my husband and I to accomplish, and experience together. I also, believe it or not, am itching to participate in at least one 5K before it’s baby time! That might actually mean walking the whole thing, and I’m ok with that! I’ll take whatever I can get!
