A Sunny Weekend Recap

Thanks to everyone who’s entered the Iconoclast Dad Bag giveaway so far! Adam has really enjoyed using his dad bag the past few months and we were so excited to share our love of the bag by partnering up with a giveaway. Be sure and enter before we draw a winner next Monday!

This weekend was another wonderful weekend spent at home, with no plans. I meant what I said a while back about feeling like we’re living for the weekends, and it is still holding true. On weekends like these when the sun is out and we don’t have major obligations, it’s so nice to re-charge together and get things done at our own pace. To recap, here’s a quick sentence per picture.

I consider Friday to be part of my weekends (even though we’re still at work) and this happy girl was ready to get this party started!

Saturday morning, my heart pretty much melted when I went to wake her up and she was grasping her moose paci.

Saturday morning couch snuggles.

She’s been LOVING her Jumparoo and will basically lay her face on the piano and watch the piano light up.

She wore a cute little bubble that one of her aunties got her.

Trying to take pictures of a 6 month old is becoming increasingly more difficult.

I spent most of Saturday reorganizing, running to Hobby Lobby, doing chores, and then we went Cracker Barrel for a hot family date night. (Adeline’s first time!)

*In case you were wondering, she’s a genius and only left one peg.

We wore one of our favorite new dresses to church on Sunday morning.

Sunday afternoon, we took a long walk/jog in our new jogging stroller!  (more on that later)

A bow is also a sleep mask these days – so embarrassing. IMG_3563

We took photos of her New Balance sneakers, and I can’t wait to share!

I snapped this and a few other naked baby bum photos Sunday evening, and just about died.

How was your weekend? What is one thing you did outside? Did you enter our giveaway?

The picture with her bow over her eyes is so cute! This weekend I was outside during my last long run! It was like 45 degrees but surprisingly felt nice after a few minutes:)

We played outside a lot this past weekend, and mulched! 🙂
