StrideBox: Dec & Jan Review

Hey everyone!

How has your weekend been? I’ve done pretty much nothing, and it’s been fabulous!

We took Miss. Truckee for a nice long walk this morning, and it was amazing to finally get some sunshine around these parts! It’s been way too long.

Ok, so, remember that Christmas ideas list I wrote a few weeks ago and mentioned that a great idea for a runner would be a subscription box? Well, little did I know, sitting under our Christmas tree was my first month of StrideBox!

I had completely forgotten about Stridebox, but I’m so glad he researched running boxes and found it!

I’ve received my January 2013, and December 2014 boxes so far, and have been very impressed! I can’t wait to get more into training so I can test out all of these goodies!

Here’s a look into December’s box on Christmas morning!

I’m extra excited about the reflective shoelaces on top! Such an easy way to make your dusk or morning run even safer!

And here’s a look into January’s!

Guys, how cute are they??

This box was full of nutritional awesomeness. Obviously, you know I was thrilled to have another bag of PowerBar Energy Blasts, but I’m also so excited to try the CoCo Hydro Pineapple powder drink mix and the Generation UCAN! Both are packed full of electrolytes to maximize performance.

The Shower Pill Athletic Wipe is a brilliant idea! It’s antibacterial so if you workout on your lunch break and don’t have time to shower, this is the perfect solution!

I actually tried the Zing peanut butter chocolate chip bar on Sunday, and it was delish! It reminded me a little of those Snickers Marathon energy bars, but much better for you.

And once again, there is a safety element included: the reflective slap bracelet.

So what do you think? Would you try StrideBox? Do you already subscribe to another brand?

What a fun box, I’ve actually never heard of this brand before. I’ve tried the Bestowed boxes a few times though, and they are pretty good!

Kristy- Yay I’m glad I introduced you to it!! Oooh I’ve heard awesome things about Bestowed!! Do you like them? Is it like running stuff or more like cute random stuff like a BirchBox?

What’d you think of the NoGii bar? I’m looking into new gluten free energy bars since eating straight sugar while running has not been kind to me.

Love the reflective stuff. I’m glad it’s becoming trendy to be safe. 🙂 Fun gift idea for runners, for sure!

LOVE StrideBox! I did a blog post about StrideBox and I put it on my runner’s must have Christmas list as well! I like to think of StrideBox as Christmas day every month for runners. 🙂 It really motivates me to get out and run so that I can test out new products and learn about some really great brands out there that may not be as well known (but are much healthier options). I hope you continue to enjoy StrideBox!

I’m not a runner but I see that the StrideBox things aren’t really exclusive to running. I don’t have any subscription boxes.

Cassi- You’re right! They really don’t have to be just for runners! Really for any type of exercise you could benefit from it!

These boxes look like a lot of fun! I was seriously considering getting a subscription for my sister as a Christmas gift. In the end though I ended up making my own boxes for her with things I know she would like!

Ashley- You should girl! I think you would love it. I’ve tried out several things so far even just before a long walk, that way when you try it out for a race for a long run you know you like it! 🙂
