Oh sweet summer, I can’t believe you are coming to an end! Well, down here in Texas, summer can last until October. But, if you’re asking me, once we’re in September it’s full steam ahead into fall! I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the “-ber” months are my absolute favorite.
With fall on the horizon, even if just in my heart, I’m still reflecting on our family vacation to St. George Island a few weeks ago. It was such a dream to have my entire family back at our favorite place, and to have all 4 cousins on the beach together. We had the BEST week, and I’m still wishing I could look out my back window and see endless ocean. St. George Island is such a special place for my family, and we’ve all decided that a 6 year hiatus is far too long!
I finally got a chance to go through the first chunk of the photos I snapped on my camera and thought I’d share a brief photo recap! And by brief, I mean, a lot. So, if you’re curious how the first 3 days or so of our trip went, grab a cup of coffee and get comfortable!
These first few days were so much fun, and the kids just played and played and played. They collected endless seashells, jumped in the pool, and dug in the sand until we had to beg them to come inside. And, Barrett started walking! I only brought my camera out in the mornings and the evenings, but I’m so glad I made the effort to document what I could!
See you soon for part 2!
