Sophia’s Rose Bows: A Bowtiful Giveaway

Happy FriYay!

Comin’ at ya with a super fun giveaway!

But first, how’s your week been? I feel like this week was jam packed, and flew by. It was not just full of work, but full of toddler insanity. It’s definitely exhausting chasing Miss Adeline around, but oh so sweet! We’ve had plenty of late afternoon playground playtime, walks, and chases around the house with Daddy. This weekend might just have to be all about resting. But who really can rest with a 17 month old…

Anyways, let’s chat bows!

Not all bows are created equal. There are about a million different kinds, styles, varieties, and shops. I have found that I’m a pretty picky bow-mom. (Imagine that??) I’m really persnickety about my styles and patterns, and have a hard time buying bows for Adeline that won’t go with everything or are too “fun”. But on the rare occasion, I find a shop I just love, and I suddenly have to have ALL THE BOWS and my self-imposed rules go out the window. After all, the clock is ticking for how much longer Adeline will let me put bows in her hair! #amiright

Recently I stumbled across Sophia’s Rose Bows on Instagram, and fell in love! Her bows are simple, girly, and come in so many great sizes and colors. I love that she has some unique, fun patterns, as well as all the solids a basic mama like me can truly appreciate! I’m so excited to be teaming up with her today for a special giveaway for one lucky mama! (Keep reading for deets)

I took Adeline to the park the other day to try and get photos of her rocking her new bows. EASIER SAID THAN DONE. We probably looked like a circus. Hot mess express, for sure! All Adeline wanted to do was sprint up and down the path, and wave at anyone who passed. This girl, ya’ll. She is always on a mission!

We tried out two bows – a pink paisley/floral, and a grey floral. I think they’re both totally our style, and will go with so many cute outfits this summer! I’m forseeing Adeline’s summer wardrobe consisting of lots of happy, bright colors, patterns, and poppy solids and I can’t wait to dress those sweet cheeks everyday!

Both of these bows have high quality alligator clips on the back, making them perfect for clipping into Adeline’s fine hair. This girl has A LOT of hair, but it’s still pretty thin so sometimes bows will slip out if they have a cheap clip!

They’re also the perfect size! I actually don’t think we have any bows that are this exact size. Most are a bit smaller, so these were an excellent addition to our collection. And, the fabric is thick, and durable, so when they inevitably end up at the bottom of my purse, they won’t get destroyed 😉

Goodness, I love this girly! I never in a million years thought it would be FUN to shop for bows, and that buying bows for a little girl would bring me so much joy, but there’s just something about it!

Disclaimer: for everyone who thinks Adeline actually keeps her bows in all day…wrong! She keeps them in long enough for a picture pretty much. She pulls them out every time we get in the car, and they never stay on at daycare either. If I want them to stay on for any length of time, some serious distraction has to take place so she doesn’t notice I put them in!

Alright, now for the GIVEAWAY details. So listen up! Sophia’s Rose Bows has graciously agreed to give one lucky mama 2 bows of her choice!

Two ways to enter:

  1. Leave a comment on this blog post telling us which two bows you would pick. Simply visit her Etsy shop, and tell us what you like!
  2. Head over to @sophiasrosebows on Instagram, and check out her Giveaway photo. More details there!

Gahh I love bows! A’s hair is crazy curly and needs a bow in lol Or a ponytail at all times. I think I’d choose the pig tails because they are so adorable but I can’t decide! Love all the others but for some reason can’t figure out the colors lol

I like the headband bows— floral and burgundy! Not sure if baby is a girl as we’ll be surprised later this summer. But my 15 month year old niece would love these.
