Rockin’ Refuel Protein Beverage Review + Giveaway

Hi friends!

Wow, I had no idea my Take Instagram with a Grain of Salt post was going to get so much feedback! You guys are too funny!

Today I’ve got a fun review and GIVEAWAY for you!

Rockin’ Refuel Review and Giveaway

Several weeks ago I was contacted by the guys at Rockin’ Refuel and was asked if I’d be interested in testing out their products. Rockin’ Refuel makes high protein milk beverages, that are delicious AND high quality. I had never heard of them before, so I was super excited to try them out and see what they are all about! I’ve always loved protein shakes and smoothies, so knew this was right up my alley. Plus with another round of marathon training coming up, I knew it’d be nice to pin-point a new recovery drink to enjoy throughout the process!

A few days later, a cooler arrived on my front porch with what seemed like their whole line! These guys don’t mess around!

They generously sent me 7 shakes – three flavors, and four “mixes.” The drinks come in Chocolate, Vanilla, and Strawberry, as well as Muscle Recovery, Muscle Builder, Lean Recovery, and Lean Builder.

Rockin’ Refuel is made with REAL milk, which is incredibly high in protein. From their website, “Rockin’ Refuel is packed with the natural protein athletes of all levels need to achieve their physical goals – whether it’s rebuilding muscle after a workout or building strength to get ready for game day. Featuring the ideal amount of high quality protein, Rockin’ Refuel offers the protein milk beverage for you to maximize your performance.”

Some quick facts:

-No high fructose corn syrup
—> Muscle Recovery: 20g of protein
—> Lean Recovery: 17g of protein
—> Muscle Builder: 30g of protein
—> Lean Builder: 20g of protein
-9 essential nutrients including calcium and vitamins A & D
-Naturally occurring electrolytes
-Chocolate milk is shown to help people recover after exercise. It helps refuel exhausted muscles, making energy available nearly twice as effective as commercial sports drinks
-Low fat, Low calorie

My husband and I have both been slowly trying each of the shakes. So far, we both agree on one thing: the vanilla flavor is the bomb-diggity.

Seriously. It takes just like a vanilla milk shake!

My husband’s second favorite is the strawberry, while my second favorite is the chocolate. Go figure. Either way, they are all fantastic, and considering the fact that I’m a “texture” person when it comes to food and drinks, that’s saying a lot!

I think what I love most about these shakes is how customizable they are to your workout regimen! My husband does much more weight lifting than I do, so he immediately steered towards the Muscle Builder and the Muscle Recovery shakes, while I steered more towards the Lean Recovery and Lean Builder. As a female runner, my primary goal isn’t to bulk up, but my body still needs enough protein to recover from tough runs, so being able to get those nutrients in a delicious shake form that I know isn’t too much for my body, is so nice!

I’m already sad that I only have one vanilla shake left. When I’m done with this one, I’m going to have to stock back up!

I’ve love some just because I’m in the market for a new portable protein beverage (I get lazy with having to wash my shaker all the time ): …) and I’d definitely want to try strawberry <3

    Great giveaway!

The reason I would like to try some rockin fuel is mainly because to recovery from strenth-training that I do. And I would like to try the chocolate flavor. 🙂

I need some Rockin’ refuel in my life since I’ve been hitting the weights lately. I love the way I feel after a good sweat session, but I’m really bad at figuring out what I need to put back into my body. I’m thinking the Rockin’ refuel could definitely help.

I’d love to try them all, but the strawberry one sounds the best. These would be great after a long run. I gave a hard time eating after longer runs and this would be great!!

I have never found a protein drink that I like because as you said I’m a “texture” person…so these sound like something that might actually work for me! Thanks for the giveaway!

I love to jog and protein shakes like these are great for right after instead of just drinking water – I have never tried this brand before so I’d love to and the lowfat chocolate milk flavor is calling my name.

I recently had gastric sleeve surgery ,protein is a must around 70 to 100 grams a day,so we wont loose muscle, I’ve tried all kinds of protein shakes I haven’t found any I like yet until today, tried this one in vanilla.loved it,no after taste, was really good, would love to sample the rest. 🙂

I have been looking all over for these. I tasted of one while on vacation and fell in love. Please pick me to receive a free product. I have a hard time getting enough Prote in in my diet arms I found that the Muscle Recovery (30g) vanilla made me feel more energized.
