Hi all! I know you’re itching to read Part 2 of my WDW Marathon recap, but today I’m popping in to share a new compression sock company I’ve recently discovered, AND, to give you a chance to win a free pair for yourself! I’ll be back with my full marathon recap tomorrow hopefully. I’ve still got tons of pictures to go through and narrow down!

Tiux Compression Socks Review and Giveaway

Tiux is a startup company out of Vancouver that is taking the compression sock world by storm. Their model is simple: they sell their socks online, offer free shipping, and their socks rock.

There are several compression socks on the market already, and I’ll admit to owning several and wearing them often! But, I really like the fact that Tiux compression socks are very affordable, sleek looking, and only sold online, so there’s a factor of rarity to them! They retail at $35, and are made of just as high quality materials, if not better, than their competitors. Tiux socks however, feature a unique calf support and stabilization stripe to help with increased blood flow.

If you’re a newbie runner or a runner that just hasn’t tried compression socks before, I highly recommend trying them. You’ve probably seen runners wearing them at races, and people joke that the runners wearing them “probably know what they’re doing.” I usually run all of my long races in them, assuming it’s not 100 degrees outside, and I often wear them to help recover from long runs, long races, and tough workouts. Compression socks basically help increase blood flow to your muscles, which helps to increase oxygen, helping your muscles recover faster. For me specifically, they help prevent cramping in my feet. They also just help your muscles feel “alive” and “refreshed” throughout your run so you don’t feel as fatigued. I’m a big fan of compression socks, and typically wear them for any runs longer than 6 miles or so. I’ve actually worn these the past two days to help in the marathon recovery process.

The socks feel very comfortable and breathable on my legs and feet, instead of other more restricting (thick and super hot!) ones I’ve tried previously. When you order them, you’ll order them based on your calf size, and as a reference, I ordered an XS and they fit my feet perfectly, but might be a tad short. So if you’re my height, I’d maaaaaybe go with a Small instead. There are 3 colors available for Pre-Order right now: black/lime green, hot pink/purple/lime green, and lime green/blue. Ya’ll, the hot pink is suuuuper cute!

Here’s a little more about their new product, along with a comparison to a few other well known brands:

Lastly, Tiux gives 1% of their revenue to MAG, Mines Advisory Group, which is a non-profit that helps cleans up land areas affected by remnants of war.

Ok, now it’s your chance to win a pair for yourself! Tiux compression socks are only available for pre-order right now, so if you win, just consider yourself a trendsetter. Just enter using the form below…

As a disclaimer, I was sent a free pair myself to try out, but was not compensated in any way.

I sometimes wear compression socks for road races, partly for keeping my muscles warm and also for a bit of style.
