Time for another weekly update. I swear I JUST posted about week 20. This is going by way too fast!
I’m finding week 21 to be pretty average, nothing too exciting has been happening. We’re 21+4 now, so I like posting these updates mid-week instead of on the exact day so I don’t miss anything!
Here are the high points:
I’m getting more and more excited to meet Adeline, and I find myself daydreaming sometimes about what she’ll look like, how much hair she’ll have, whether she’ll have my blue eyes or Adam’s brown eyes, will she have fair skin like Adam or will it be a little more tan like mine, will she be short like the women on my side of the family or a little taller like Adam? Either way she will be absolutely perfect. It is still very surreal that there is a human in there!
As far as workouts go, I’m still trying to be diligent about walking every night that I possibly can, assuming we’re home in the evenings. I think it’s definitely helping me feel like I’m still maintaining some sort of “shape” and it makes a huge difference on how I sleep at night. If I don’t walk, it takes me a much longer time to fall asleep at night, and I tend to wake up more during the night. I’ve also been *trying* to incorporate some arm weights here and there for a little strength training. I’ve got to make this a bigger habit! I told Adam it’s now his job when we’re sitting around at night to remind me to pick up the weights, even if for just 5 minutes during commercials!
I made another nursery purchase this week as well! I ordered her sweet curtains! I’ve had my eye on these curtains pretty much since we found out we were pregnant, and once we found out it was for sure a little girly I knew they would be too perfect.
Overstock.com! And on sale too! The walls in our nursery are a little darker and “warmer” than the walls pictured above, so I think the white will really pop, especially with our white fur rug and white crib! Love. Love. Love.
I think that about wraps it up! If you haven’t yet, head on over to Sweet Miles on Facebook and give it a Like! I can’t decide how I feel about a FB page for a blog. FB is probably my least favorite platform, and I feel like I’m much more active and personal on Instagram and Twitter, where there’s a little more control over your reach. With FB’s algorithm, it’s rare that even a handful of your “fans” will see your content. Do you pay attention to blogs’ FB pages? Are you more likely to click through to a post if it’s somewhere other than FB? I know for me I don’t pay much attention to FB pages, as I tend to unfollow most of them so they don’t clog my newsfeed.
Have a happy Thursday!

June 11, 2015 at 2:39 pmI’m glad you like them! They were super affordable, maybe like $39 a panel?? I’d found others online but for like $80 or $90 a panel, which is just insane! And YES! Literally my stomach was WOKEN me up making noises. So weird!!

June 15, 2015 at 11:54 amI’m so proud of you for sticking with your workouts! I count the stairs up to my office to be my daily exercise 😉 That bump is getting cuter by the week too. I found that 20 weeks has been average, but 19 weeks I got SLAMMED with some “morning” sickness that only lasted a day. I thought we were past that! So excited to be so close together!
xo!

June 16, 2015 at 11:11 amHaha thank you dear! I would say stairs totally count 😉 It’s amazing how winded I get walking up them! I seem to remember having some morning sickness around 18/19 weeks as well! Hopefully you are DONE with that mess and Mr Sawyer is calming down 😉 YOUR belly is getting cuter and cuter! Eek!! HEY! We might do a babymoon in NWA in Sept. sometime!
