We are just about 18.5 weeks now, so time for another update! Is it just me or is this flying by??
Not a whole lot of changes this week, other than CONSTANTLY LOOKING ONLINE AT GIRL STUFF. It’s like the flood gates opened and all things cute and girly have rained down upon my Pinterest and bookmark bar. I’m ok with it, except that it is putting a damper on my productivity!
This week’s picture is a little different since we were at my uncle-in-law’s property up in MO and I was wearing a dress, and had makeup on, and knew that wouldn’t happen again for several weeks. Ha! Gotta take these pics when you can!
I also feel like morning sickness has come back this week. Scratch that, it definitely has. At least two mornings this week so far were pretty pukey, ick, so I’m wondering if baby girl is going through a growth spurt or maybe my stomach is just being pushed around. Who knows, but I’m hoping the next few days calm down in that department!
Other than that, not too much to report. Pretty much the same cravings and aversions, though my craving for mexican food is slowly fading which is probably for the best. I have also been able to eat some vegetables here and there, and I’ve been snacking on fresh fruit every few days.
Our next doctor’s appointment is tomorrow, and we’ll get to hear that sweet heartbeat again. Always a good reassurance that she is really in there, and even though I’ve been sick she’s still trucking right along! We’ve decided against doing the genetic quad screening, or whatever it’s called, mainly because it’s one more thing to worry about, and I don’t want to stress over the possibility of a false positive. And at this point, it’s all in God’s hands, and what’s going to happen is going to happen.
Here are a few more highlights:
For the long weekend I’m headed home for some serious shopping and R&R with my parents and family. Adam is staying behind to paint the nursery, and I can’t wait to come back and see the finished product!
