Janji Fall 2014 Review and Promo Code

Ok, if you’ve been a reader for a while then you might remember last year’s post on Janji – the running apparel company that helps provide clean water to countries around the world!

“Through each purchase of Janji’s distinctive running apparel, a portion of proceeds funds organizations that are alleviating the worst problems related to water.
By funding solutions and raising awareness through our apparel, Janji wants to create a nation of runners that run for another and eliminate the global water crisis.”

They recently reached out to me again, and graciously sent me a cute new outfit to try out and show all of you!

This outfit in particular helps Tanzania and Rwanda. The Running Capris will give 3 years of running water to a person in Tanzania, and the Crowned Crane Long Sleeve Running Shirt will give 1 year of clean water to a person in Rwanda. Pretty neat, huh?

To better show you these items, I channelled my inner model and snapped some quick awkward pics for you all. It was freezing, and I left my camera on auto, so they’re not the besssst pictures you’ve ever seen, however, this outfit might be one of the most comfortable ones I now own.

The top is super soft, like, pajama quality soft. It’s made of a thin wicking cotton blend, so I know on a warmer fall or winter day, it wouldn’t be too hot or constricting. I’m wearing a Small, and felt like it was sized pretty accurately. I especially loved the design on the side, and loved that it was so unique and much more colorful than most of my winter running wear – always a plus!

The capris were also very comfortable, though a bit on the shorter side for me. I usually prefer capris that hit just below my calf, because in my mind this length makes me look shorter than I am. That’s probably just me though. But, I did like that this length is almost a hybrid between shorts and full length tights – long enough to be warm, but still short enough to be cool. I am wearing a Small in these as well, and did think they were a tiny bit tight. Which I was warned about. But, tight tights (oxymoron?) are obviously better than a pair that’s too loose. I’ll spare you the booty shot in these, even though if we’re being honest, they do make your backside look prettttttty nice. Come on, you were all wondering. There is also a zip pocket in the back, just below the waistband! LOVE this feature!!! It’s the perfect spot to put your car key, or a few Shot Bloks while you’re out on a run!

Now, the guys at Janji, who, are awesome by the way, are offering up a promo code to YOU! Both of the pieces I am wearing, you will be able to purchase for a 25% discount using the following codes:

For the capris enter the code: SweetMilesCapris
For the top enter the code: SweetMilesLongsleeve

Disclaimer: I received these products for free, was not compensated, and will not receive any sort of commission if you choose to purchase these from Janji. Geeze, I can’t believe you even thought that. Just trying to save the world here. NBD.

Have you heard of Janji? Which piece would you prefer?
