Ingle Christmas Weekend Recap: The Teams Are Even

Well I guess it’s safe to say Christmas is over. Done. Donezo. Of course our Christmas tree is still up, and will probably remain up until one of our lazy butts decides to take it down. Maybe February it will come down. Adam insists every year that it should just be our Holiday Tree and we should decorate it for every holiday. I’m not entirely opposed to this jovial idea, but our tree does take up a pretty hefty amount of space. I’m sure Adeline would get a kick out of decorating for every holiday, ha!

I figured it was better late than never to recap our weekend in Oklahoma City celebrating Christmas with our Ingle family. We finally got to meet Baby Hank and we already love him so much! Adeline had the TIME OF HER LIFE playing with all her cousins, running around with the big kids, and being doted on by her motherly girl cousins. She was so good all weekend! She took two great naps on Saturday amidst all the craziness, and slept great at the hotel both nights! Our little girl has turned into quite the traveller, but goodness gracious I am ready to stay put for a while!

Our Ingle family has grown SO much since 2009 when the first little one was born, and it’s hard to believe there are now 7! SEVEN!!! The teams are officially even, and as soon as we decide to give Adeline a sibling, the adults will be outnumbered! AH!

So here’s a quick photo recap of our weekend, for anyone who likes keeping up with us!

We are so blessed, ya’ll. Cheers to more family memories in 2017!

Quick shameless plug, if you haven’t followed me on FB, hop on over! I’ll be focusing most of my attention on FB and Instagram this year.

What cute pictures! I bet she loved having all of her cousins around to play with! I know someone who did the holiday tree thing for a year–she said by the end of the year she was exhausted and ready to take it down!

I’m glad we’re not the only ones who haven’t taken down our Chirstmas tree yet. We should have before our NYE party, there’s no motivation now!

Hahah a holiday tree soudns pretty great. I took mine down 2 days after Christmas, because 1. it was real and dying and 2. I needed the space since we had to move all the toys in the family room because we were painting A’s new room. But if not for either of those, I’m sure it’d still be up. Love the picture of A with the stuffed animal sitting on a big girl chair. Adorable!
