DIY: Firecracker Pretzel Sticks

Happy, happy, Saturday everyone!!!

We have gotten in lots and lots of baby lovin’, and we’re just taking a break now before heading back to meet up with everyone for dinner. Family time is such a blessing, especially when it only happens so often! We love taking weekends to soak up as much love as possible.

Since I didn’t want to leave you hangin’ today, and I have had a mad sweet tooth lately, I wanted to share how I made those yummy white chocolate dipped pretzel sticks that we had on the 4th of July! I was scrolling thru my Pinterest app on my phone as I was walking into Walmart, and briefly scrolled over a picture of these and figured, “hey! I can make those!” They were super cheap, refrigerated perfectly, and were a huge hit. Here you go!

All you need is:

-sweet tooth

-hungry husband

-vanilla almond bark, 1 package

-sprinkles with patriotic flare

-pretzel sticks, in the WalMart aisle

Be careful when melting the almond bark in the microwave, you don’t want to scorch it!

Ta-Da! Easy as pie. I put mine in the fridge for a little while to let the almond bark harden, but then they were good to go! I displayed them in a mason jar on my table alongside my other treats, and will probably make this a new 4th of July staple!

Have a great rest of your weekend! Did you check yesterday’s homemade laundry detergent?

Super cute! I bet they were delicious.

My favorite part of family visits is all the wonderful chaos. It’s just so fun and crazy and warm.

These are too cute! I also love putting them in a mason jar. It really adds to the humbleness of them. Makes them more homey!

My favorite things about home visits are 1.) free food and 2.) free cable. Well, seeing my family too. When you’re in college, free food and free entertainment are heaven!

Debbie- Oooooh good idea Debbie!! Or even just for other holidays, you could totally dye the almond bark, and switch up the sprinkles! Ta Da!

I hate family visiting, it’s so stressful. It wouldn’t be so stressful if I didn’t have such a small house. Because my house is so small it goes crowded so quickly and I have no where to go to calm down. so yeah not for me.
but I do like to bake. shame my food photography is not up to par (compared to yours).
