How is your week going? Hopefully by today you’ve recovered from your Labor Day festivities and are trekking through the week. Or you’re like me and are looking forward to being home this weekend to catch up on some sleep and actually unpack your beach bags! As of right now, they seem perfectly content sprawled out on the living room floor. I’m still in denial that I’m home from the beach, and unpacking in my mind will really seal the deal.
Today I’m sharing part two of our bachelorette weekend getaway to Destin. As promised, I’ve included all of our details and matching accessories! It’s just not a girl’s trip to the beach without matching everything, and better yet, matching monogrammed everything. Brace yourselves, it’s monogram mania! But, everything turned out SO cute, and can all be worn/used post beach. We surprised the bride-to-be with matching monogrammed tumblers, and matching monogrammed tank tops/swimsuit coverups, and then she surprised US with monogrammed beach bags! How sweet was that?! Most all of our accessories came from Etsy, and if you’d like to know which “shop” we ordered from, let me know! Here’s everything together:

To decorate for her lingerie shower, we kept it pretty simple, but still fun. I’ve excluded photos of her lingerie filled clothesline, so you can only guess how fantastic that looked hanging in our condo window all weekend 🙂 I’ve also excluded photos of some of the games, so you can just use your imagination there, keep it classy folks. But for the most part, it was far from raunchy, and all in good fun! We didn’t go overboard, and didn’t try to embarrass the bride too much. The bride and her almost-husband have been together for 11 years, so needless to say she was not hard to fool when we played the question game, aka “what did he say was…?”.
Lots of photos below, you’ve been warned!
The tumblers turned out great, and were the perfect size for keeping everyone hydrated with their beverage of choice.
Ok, how cute are these bags?? I had actually forgotten to pack a beach bag since I flew, so I was excited to have something to carry with me down to the beach! The inside liner is waterproof too, so we didn’t have to worry about anything leaking inside and getting the cloth wet. Plus, it made it easy to dump out any sand.
We stayed in an older resort, instead of one of the high-rises. Our condo had been fully updated, and everything felt so clean and nice. The pool is just off to the right in that picture, back behind those palm trees.
Dinner the second night was at Dewey Destin’s – one of the original and oldest restaurants in Destin. Hence, the Destin name. The Destin family actually owns this place. The bride has lots of memories here, so we were sure to eat here one night. And, we ate at the original location which sits right on the bay. There is now a second location just a mile down the road that’s out on the marina.
Fried crab claws and crab cakes! My absolute favorite!
Lingerie party time!
The cupcakes we picked up from a local bakery, and had them put her new last initial in the shape of a rope, to fit with our slightly nautical theme.
For the mad libs, we had the groom fill in all of the blanks, and then the bride and all the girls had to guess what he said. Hil-arious.
And we had a fireman. But I won’t explain that one.

I think that’s about it!
I’m hosting a giveaway tomorrow, so be sure and check back!!
