The Cutest Birth Announcements and Nursery Prints: a Minted Review + $150 Giveaway!

When it came time to pick out birth announcements, I immediately hopped on Minted to pick some out. I’ve used Minted on several special occasions, and actually mentioned it previously on the blog here. (And I just noticed that I ended up using a design I showed in that post! I must have really liked it!)

Minted has always been my first go-to for picking out cute stationary, and we’ve used them for our save the date, wedding invitations, our first christmas card, and now birth announcements. Maybe one day we’ll use them for Adeline’s graduation announcements too, if time keeps flying as fast as it is now! I’ve always felt like they are affordable, and have tons of options when it comes to customization.

I never shared them on the blog, but here are our birth announcements. And confession: most of these weren’t mailed until she was almost 3 months old, and we still have a stack of announcements I never got around to mailing in the first place. Whoops! Chalk that up to first time parenting and sleepless nights oozing out the wazoo.

Minted doesn’t just have stationary and cards, but they also have wall art, home decor, name labels (these are new!), shower and party decor, wall signs, and holiday decor. Basically, they’re a one stop shop. Last time I perused their site I caught myself adding pillows to my shopping cart, which I quickly removed after I told myself, “no, you don’t REALLY need new pillows.” They’ll getchtya though. Every time.

Recently, Minted was so kind to offer me a chance to shop around and order a few things for Adeline’s nursery/future toddler room. I love cute wall prints, and immediately gravitated towards their nursery wall art.

Here’s what I picked out:

For some reason I just really love gold accents, and I think this foil print will be so cute once I get it framed. And, the baby deer. Of course. Of all the little woodland forest animals in her nursery she is lacking a baby deer! It’s hard to see in the picture but the inner background of the deer print is actually soft pink.

This birth stat print I think I might leave in the living room, unless I can find a place for it in the nursery. I think once we’re done having kids, it would be cute to do a wall feature with prints of all of their stats.

My favorite thing I ordered is the Adeline fox door sign! Isn’t it adorable???

“Always Have Courage Little One” is something I hope I can always convey to A. It’s hard to tell in the picture but the light font is a soft pink and the dark font is kind of a burgundy.

Lastly, these name label stickers were a must! I mostly write her name with a sharpie on everything at daycare, but I know one day she’ll have other things I’ll want to slap a name label on! I’ve marked out my phone number obviously, but I love that that’s included on them. There are approxiamately 9495724 name labels to choose from, and you would not believe how long it took me to finally settle on a plain pink chevron! Boring? Maybe. Practical? Yes.
