Today we’re chatting about something very near and dear to my heart: snacking!
As someone who is active on a pretty regular basis, I just can’t get through the day on three meals alone. I like to eat, what can I say?? If I don’t eat enough throughout the day, I know I won’t make it through a workout later that night, not to mention my odds of getting a headache and falling into a bad mood are skyrocketed! I’ve found that if I plan ahead, and have snacks readily available throughout my day, no matter what my schedule is, I feel better in general. In fact, my desk drawer at work is typically packed with snacks!
I hate the feeling of low blood sugar more than anything, and no one wants to feel weak and sluggish from not eating. However, keeping those snacks healthy and smart can be where the real challenge lies, but luckily, the folks over at Blue Diamond have figured this little dilemma out! Blue Diamond Almonds – Honey Roasted Chipotle and Honey Roasted Vanilla
The two flavors I was sent specifically are the Honey Roasted Chipotle and Honey Roasted Vanilla. I naturally gravitated more towards the Chipotle flavor, and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the Vanilla as well!

The Honey Roasted Chipotle have a fantastic flavor, and ya’ll, I could probably eat the entire can in one sitting! Please don’t anyone actually do that, but they really are that good! They’re perfect to add in salads for a little kick, especially. And I’ve become a fan of popping a handful of these before I head out for a run, or even a hike, just for a little extra energy.
The Honey Roasted Vanilla are much sweeter, and are a great alternative for when you’ve got a hankerin’ for something! I’ve been keeping this can in my car for when I just NEED something sweet, OR, when I’m driving home from work and just can’t wait until dinner. Word to the wise though, you won’t be able to eat just one. The vanilla flavor would also be delicious mixed into oatmeal or yogurt!
