Don’t Take It From Me: Beautycounter In The Press + Memorial Day SALE

It’s no secret by now that I’m obsessed with all things Beautycounter. I’ve been a loyal customer, turned consultant, for almost 3.5 years now and believe wholeheartedly in both their product lineup and their mission. I have yet to be disappointed, and have loved incorporating Beautycounter into my routines. As someone who prioritizes health and fitness, I also prioritize my skincare and beauty routine as it truly goes hand-in-hand with becoming the best version of myself, and living as healthy of a lifestyle as possible. I love knowing that while I’m taking care of my physical self, I’m also taking care of my skin. Even if I hadn’t made the leap back into the consultant gig, I would still be singing Beautycounter’s praises because they are just.that.good! Like, so, good. Becoming a consultant and taking advantage of a discount PLUS the option to earn a little pocket change for my family on the side, literally made as much sense to me as Dr. Pepper on Sonic Ice. AKA it made perfect sense, ha! Plus, the research is there, it’s not a fad, so it’s really a no-brainer.

beautycounter in the press

I get it though. Beautycounter is an MLM and with that comes a certain amount of hesitation and skepticism. But, I can honestly say, if you take the MLM aspect out of the equation, Beautycounter is an incredible brand, led by incredible women, who have an incredible mission at heart, and if it were sold at major retailers instead, it would 100% be in my shopping cart. I was a member for two years before deciding I needed to just finally join as a consultant to make my bank account a little happier!

I thought I would share a nice little roundup of Beautycounter features around the web, on TV, on podcasts, and the like that I’ve come across so far in 2019. These all either mention BC directly or are directly related. I think a lot of times it can be hard to take a blogger or friend at face value and truly “believe” them, when at the end of the day they’re making money from whatever it is they are “selling.” There’s this unspoken questioning of motives that happens, and I’m guilty of it too! But, I am here to tell you that I hope you never feel like I am being disingenuous with how I talk about Beautycounter. I hope you know that I am head over heels for this company and just want to shout it from the rooftops. But, don’t take it from me and me alone – just check out the endless press mentions and celebrity endorsements and you’re sure to be pleasantly surprised as well. The crisis that surrounds the unregulated beauty and personal care product industry isn’t just something that effects me, or you, it’s something that effects everyone, and I’m glad to see more and more news outlets are taking note. Even the FDA is starting to get on board, which is one of our biggest goals!

beautycounter safer beauty

When you know better, you can do better. And that’s what is at the heart of Beautycounter. By simply educating, sharing, and providing a better option, we are making progress everyday towards our primary mission to get safer products into the hands of everyone and advocating for safer beauty. Hopefully some of these press features will plant a seed, and inspire you to do some research and googling on your own. Hopefully it will give you one more reason to “trust” me and this little (big!) obsession. Sometimes hearing it from a third party can give you that extra boost of confidence you need to try something new. Or if you’re a science person, sometimes a little extra research might help. When I first tried Beautycounter in 2016, there was hardly a mention of it anywhere, but now, it’s hard NOT to find something about them!

I would encourage you to seriously consider the business opportunity. Come join my little team, there is no better time! Let’s tackle this mission together and have some FUN! The income potential is there, whether you’re looking for a little something supplemental or just want some “fun money” to go towards those Target runs, kids clothes, or even to help pay down a little debt. (I mean, that’s where mine goes at least!) And if you just want to buy your own products cheaper, that’s cool too! $98 is all it takes to get started, and I would be honored to have you hop on board with me. (Plus, I could use someone else to word vomit all things Beautycounter love with!)

Thanks for following along with this aspect of my life, friends. I really appreciate all of you who read my blog, and who have watched it evolve through the years. I hope it is a refreshing place on the internet, and somehow encourages you to take care of YOU, be it by fitness, safer skincare, or even just some “you time” time away from your littles!
