A little late posting these, but I finally wanted to share our Easter photos! Adeline had a wonderful first Easter, and I’m convinced she was the cutest little bunny I ever did see. Warning: this is a huge photo recap, to see the highlights, check out Instagram.
So a couple weeks ago I went ahead and took some cute Easter basket pictures with Adeline, since I knew we’d probably be traveling. I also made her suffer through bunny ears and a pile of eggs, but I’m thinking it was totally worth it. Bless this little bunny, she is a mess.
To celebrate the actual Easter holiday, last weekend we headed down to TX to spend a few days with Adam’s side of the family. This was Adeline’s third road trip, and she was such a trooper. I don’t want to jinx it, but I think we’ve got a pretty good little traveler.
We drove down first thing Friday morning, and met up with Adam’s parents, sister, and her two little ones at the Dallas Arboretum for a sunny walk around the giant botanical gardens. My only request for the weekend was to take Adeline to the Arboretum and I’m so glad the weather allowed for it! Adeline might be the most photographed baby, ever, but I’m more than okay with that! That’s what happens when your mom’s a photographer.
The rest of the weekend we spent with my in-laws, and the rest of the family hanging out and enjoying the sunshine. The weather was gorgeous all weekend and little Adeline got enough vitamin D to last her until summer, I think.
Here’s how the weekend went!
Adam’s mom goes by “Honey” as her grandmother name, and Adam found this adorable honey bee outfit for Adeline!
All of the girl cousins. These girls could NOT get enough of baby Adeline. They are both little mothers!
Next weekend my family will be in town and I can’t wait for them to get to love on our sweet squishy girl! Sunshine + family time + happy babies = perfection.
