Adeline’s First Beach Trip: Day Two

I’m back! And you guys, oh man. This past week. Sometimes you feel like you’re drowning, and no matter what you just can’t quite catch up. No matter what, you just feel like your to-do list is beyond miles and miles long, but you can’t muster up the energy to attack it, you feel like you’re losing the mom game, you’re worried about a grandparent back home, you are literally sitting under piles of photos to edit and feel like the worse business owner ever, and then you come down with the freakin’ super flu before it’s even flu season and it knocks you on your butt harder than anything and you’d rather be in labor than feel like such crap. And then your to-do list suddenly really is beyond miles and miles long, everything else piles up, then your daughter decides she doesn’t want to take a bottle or a sippy cup. Or 5 types of sippy cups. And you think you might lose your mind. And that’s where we are. I’m sitting here eating chocolate cake AND a chocolate chip cookie listening to a new Spotify playlist while Adam plays some scary looking video game but I don’t even care because all I really want to do is zone out and not hear anything at all. Except for how crunchy and delicious this cookie is.

But then you remember you DID just get back from an amazing beach vacation with your little family who you love more than the whole entire Earth. And you finally have time to look back through some of your photos and smile because they’re all that really matter. No matter what, I have Adam and Adeline, and that is enough. So that’s all I’m sharing with you guys today. Some sweet photos we took of our second evening on the beach watching the sunset. I wish every night could be this night.

I hope you are feeling better!! You have had a lot on your plate lately between daycare switches, job switches, vaca, sickness, party planning! Those pictures are beautiful and going to be cherished for years to come! Glad you were able to get those while at the beach.
